We’re Josh and Bella, a husband and wife team behind Modern Tales Media. We’re passionate about creating films and photographs that feel true to the people in them.

Our own story started long distance, with Josh living in England before eventually moving to Oregon. Because of that, we understand just how meaningful memories and shared moments become over time. It’s a big part of why we care so deeply about documenting weddings in a way that feels real.

For over a decade, we’ve had the privilege of filming and photographing weddings for couples who want more than something overly posed or traditional. Our style is relaxed and story driven. We focus on the genuine moments that often end up meaning the most. The quiet in-between interactions, the emotion, the people you love, and the feeling of the day as it naturally unfolds.

We take a nonintrusive approach so you can stay fully present and actually enjoy your wedding day without constantly feeling pulled away for the camera. At the same time, we pay close attention to the details and carefully craft every film and gallery to feel personal to you.
